Yacht Management with Milebuilders means you can be sure your asset is in safe hands. With the ability to use your yacht whenever you feel the sea calling and know once you turn up there'll be no cleaning or maintenance to slow you from getting out and enjoying the sailing.

Step on board and sail away while Milebuilders manages all the legal, tax, maintenance, and chartering issues. As we only allow skippered charter you can sleep soundly in the knowledge that your yacht is in safe hands at all times.

 
We are the ONLY company who will take ANY YACHT. Our current charter fleet include a Hinckley 41, a beautiful wooden cutter from 1955, a Bosun Queen 55 ketch from 1981, J80's, 109's and cruising yachts from all the main stream manufacturers built between 1990 and 2009. 

As milebuilders have bases across the South of England and Wales we are able to offer you several options on where to keep your yacht. Charter income will vary between areas and we have the experience to give you accurate estimates for each marina. You can use your boat whenever you want to go sailing, and we’ll charter it out for you when you don’t. We earn a percentage of the charter fee, but the majority goes to you. We have regular berths at East Cowes Marina and we are happy to deliver your boat to any port in the Solent for free and to anywhere on the south coast at cost.
 
Milebuilders provide you with a personal programme of sail and or race training on your yacht through our RYA sea school, so if you are a relative newcomer, have a new yacht or just want to brush up on your skills we can help you in all aspects.

New purchases.

If you are looking to buy a yacht and are thinking of chartering it as an option to cover your running costs then please feel free to contact us for advice on the best way to deal with the purchase and set up. As we are part of Skippers and Crew we can also assist in the delivery and commissioning and are often a lot more competitive than the manufacturer.

Milebuilders Yacht Management deals with all the maintenance, servicing, repairs, berthing fees and insurance for your yacht.  Handles the administration for charter bookings and ensures the boat is thoroughly checked and cleaned before and after each charter. We ensure all skippers are fully qualified; run routine maintenance checks ensuring your yacht is always in pristine condition; take responsibility for all expenses during the charter such as fuel, cleaning services, skipper and crew and most importantly promotes your boat with an effective marketing campaign.

  As Milebuilders treat each client and yacht individually we can discuss a programme to suit ALL needs and ALL types of yacht. Our commission varies depending on the yacht and the amount of time you are willing to make her available for charter but typically our fee is between 30 and 40%. The balance then is paid to you at the end of each month by direct transfer and a detailed accounts sheet will be posted or emailed at the same time.
